Razna Sports Academy

About Razna Sports Academy and their team.

The Story Behind Razna Sports Academy

Razna Sports Academy was born in 2023 from a shared belief: that football can transform lives. Founders Sofie Raznatovic and Christophe van Pottelsberghe joined forces to create a space where talent meets opportunity — and where young people are empowered to rise beyond their circumstances.

For Sofie, the mission is deeply personal. Shaped by a life of resilience and grit, she envisioned a place where overlooked youth are seen, supported, and inspired. The name Razna carries her legacy, while the tiger in our logo symbolizes the strength and perseverance that drive our players — and our purpose.

Christophe brings a lifetime of football experience to the table — as a former player, coach, scout, manager, and club president. His deep knowledge of the game and leadership in youth development provide the academy with a solid foundation built on structure, integrity, and care.

At Razna, we’ve assembled a passionate team of experts in scouting, coaching, video analysis, and data. Together, we do more than train footballers — we build character, unlock potential, and go the extra mile to guide young people toward a better future.

Our Mission

At Razna Sports Academy, our mission goes beyond football. We’re here to identify raw talent, nurture it with care, and guide young people toward a future full of purpose — both on and off the pitch.

We believe football is more than a game — it’s a platform for growth, belonging, and transformation. With expert training, personal coaching, and a strong sense of community, we help our players develop into well-rounded individuals equipped for life.

Our work is grounded in four core pillars:

  • Scouting and Talent Identification – discovering potential where others might not look.
  • Holistic Player Development – sharpening technical, physical, and mental skills.
  • Personal Coaching & Career Guidance – offering long-term support tailored to each player.
  • Equal Access – creating meaningful opportunities for youth from all backgrounds.

At Razna, we go the extra mile to build a culture of respect, resilience, and ambition — where every young player feels seen, supported, and set up to thrive.

Sofie Raznatovic

Founder

Raised in challenging circumstances, Sofie’s journey is a testament to resilience. Her youth was marked by hardship — but never by defeat. She refused to let her environment dictate her future, choosing instead to rise above and go the extra mile at every step.

Today, Sofie stands as a powerful example of perseverance and purpose. Her personal and professional success reflects a deep inner strength, and her story inspires everyone who crosses her path.
More than a founder, Sofie is a connector — driven by heart, empathy, and a desire to give back. A portion of the academy’s profits is dedicated to helping those in need, reflecting her belief that true success is measured by the positive impact we make on others.

Her vision shapes the soul of Razna Sports Academy: one built not only on football, but on hope, opportunity, and lasting change.

Christophe van Pottelsberghe

Founder

Christophe’s life has always revolved around football. From player to president, from coach to scout — he’s walked every path the game has to offer. He played competitively until his 50th birthday and holds certifications in UEFA C, talent identification, and match scouting. At just 28, he became president of a football club, and has since taken on key roles as trainer, youth manager, sports director, and team mentor.Christophe was active as a football player until his 50th birthday, he holds an UEFA C, talent scout and match scouting degree. He became president of a football club at the age of 28. He went through different levels within the football world: trainer, coach, sports manager, youth manager, team manager and scout.

But beyond the titles lies his true purpose: guiding young footballers toward a brighter future.

With warmth, empathy, and a deep love for the game, Christophe leads by example — acting as both mentor and motivator. For him, developing talent is more than a job — it’s a calling. He is driven by the belief that with the right support, every young player can unlock their potential and grow — not just into better athletes, but into confident, well-rounded individuals.

Lennert

Scout, Coach

Lennert holds a degree in Sports Management and is currently still active at the Provincial level. In his youth, Lennert played for elite teams such as Cercle Brugge and Zulte Waregem. Furthermore, he also holds a UEFA C license and possesses all the know-how about what matters in the football world. His dream was obviously to become a professional footballer himself, but perhaps it is even more beautiful to help young talents achieve their dreams and propel them to the top.
